Lemon Pepper Chicken


  • Chicken Breast (1)
  • Lemon (1)
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (2 Tbsp)
  • Dried Basil (2 tsp)
  • Dried Oregano (2 tsp)
  • Salt (1/2 tsp)
  • Pepper (2 tsp)


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Cut the chicken in (2-3) smaller pieces and place in baking dish.

  3. Rub the olive oil over the chicken.

  4. Squeeze the lemon juice over the chicken.

  5. In a small bowl combine the zest of the lemon, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.

  6. Sprinkle the lemon pepper mix over the chicken.

  7. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. I like to leave the lemon in the baking dish to help the flavours infuse.

  8. Serve with your favourite side dishes and enjoy!
