Banana Oat Pancakes


  • Banana (2)
  • Egg (2)
  • Rolled Oats (1/2 cup)
  • Baking Powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Mixed Berries (to serve)
  • Cacao Powder (1 tsp - optional)


  1. Put the bananas, eggs, rolled oats and baking powder (and cacao powder if using) in a blender and blitz it all together until the mix is smooth.

  2. Pour the mix into a bowl and leave it to sit in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.

  3. Bring a small frying pan to a medium heat and cook in a few spoonfulls at a time (I've found small pancakes work better than large pancakes for this recipe).

  4. Top with some berries and serve!
