Apple Sauce.

Apple Sauce


  • Green Apple (5)
  • Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp)
  • Water (3 cups)


  1. Peel the apples and remove the core.

  2. Cut the apples into small cubes.

  3. Put the apple cubes into a large shallow pan and fill with water until most of the apple cubes are covered.

  4. Bring the water to a simmer for 15 minutes or until the apple cubes are soft (stir them around frequently).

  5. Drain the water from the apple.

  6. Sprinkle the cinammon over the apple.

  7. Either use a potato masher to crush the apple, or blend it up in a stick blender until smooth.

  8. Leave the apple sauce to cool for a couple of hours before storing in the fridge.

  9. Serve as a light snack between meals, yum!
